The following conditions apply to all website development, management, maintenance, and technical support services provided by Giosol.

1) Website Management & Hand-Off

All websites are delivered under Giosol’s managed service model by default.
Where a project is handed over for self-management or third-party administration, pricing, support coverage, and responsibility terms will differ and may be revised accordingly.

2) Work required beyond the original scope 

Additional pages required after the commencement of a project or delivery will be billed at $32 or €28 per page.

3) Annual Maintenance Fees

Annual maintenance fees are calculated as a percentage of the original website build invoice.

  • Standard websites — from 23% per year

  • Ecommerce, media, and high-content sites — from 32% per year

The annual maintenance allocation includes up to 12 hours of support per year.
Any work exceeding this allocation is billed in 30-minute increments, at a rate dependent on task type and duration.

Maintenance fees do not include:

  • hosting costs

  • domain renewals

  • email services

  • third-party software fees

 

4) Pricing Dependencies & Change Conditions

All pricing, fees, and rates are subject to revision based on:

  • exchange rate fluctuations

  • third-party vendor and hosting provider price changes

  • market and technology conditions

  • platform, licensing, and resource availability

Where applicable, revised rates may be applied at renewal or at the time of new work requests.

5) Premium Plugins & Licensing

A limited set of premium plugins and tools may be provided free of charge
for the duration of an active Giosol management or maintenance subscription.

  • Licenses remain owned by Giosol

  • Licenses are non-transferable

  • If management services are discontinued, new licenses must be purchased by the client under their own account

Plugin availability is subject to vendor policy, compatibility, and subscription validity.

6) GDPR & Compliance Responsibilities

Giosol provides technical implementation support only. The client is responsible for providing legally-valid documents and compliance content, including:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Terms & Conditions

  • Data & Cookie Policy

  • Accessibility Notice

  • Refund & Shipping Policy (where relevant)

  • Impressum / Legal Notice (where applicable)

Giosol does not draft legal policies or guarantee regulatory compliance.

Where requested, the following may be technically integrated:

  1. GDPR-compliant contact forms, ReCAPTCHA spam protection, and Google Maps

  2. Client-supplied policy documents and legal notices

  3. Client-supplied IDs such as Google Analytics, GTM, Meta Pixel, etc.

  4. Optional free accessibility widget (policy document must be provided by client)

 

7) SEO, Security & Performance

The service includes:

  • On-site SEO setup and optimisation

  • Image compression and performance tuning

  • Google Business and relevant platform integration

  • Standard security via server-level tools and third-party plugins

The service does not include:

  • off-site SEO or backlink campaigns

  • search indexing or ranking guarantees

  • reputation or penalty recovery

  • legal or compliance audits

 

8) Hosting, Domains & Email Services

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise:

  • Domains, hosting, and email services are not included in project pricing

  • Such services are provisioned via third-party providers

  • Responsibility for uptime, outages, deliverability, DNS propagation, and service interruptions rests with the provider

Renewals must be completed at least 14 days prior to expiry to avoid service disruption or loss.

9) Client-Supplied Legal Content

The client must supply:

  • Impressum / Legal Notice (where required)

  • Privacy Policy

  • Terms & Conditions

  • Refund Policy

  • Shipping Policy (where applicable)

  • Any other jurisdiction-specific legal notices

Giosol is not responsible for the legal accuracy, validity, or compliance of client-supplied content.
