These Terms & Conditions govern the delivery of services provided by Giosol IT Solutions (“Giosol”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By engaging our services, requesting technical support, or instructing us to act on your behalf with third-party providers, you (“the client”) agree to the terms outlined below.

These terms apply to all services including:

  • web design & development

  • WordPress configuration & technical setup

  • hosting & server management assistance

  • domain registration & DNS configuration

  • email account setup & integration

  • website maintenance & support

  • on-site SEO services

  • social media account management

Giosol is a web development and technical services provider and does not operate its own hosting infrastructure or internet service platforms. Third-party provider terms also apply where relevant.

 

1. Nature of Services

Giosol provides professional website development and technical services including:

  • website design, development & implementation

  • WordPress setup, theme configuration & customisation

  • site migration & deployment

  • technical troubleshooting & diagnostic assistance

  • performance optimisation & best-practice configuration

Service scope for each project will be defined in the service proposal, quotation, or agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, our role is limited to technical implementation, configuration, and support.

 

2. Third-Party Hosting, Domains, Email & Platform Services

At the client’s request, Giosol may:

  • recommend hosting providers

  • register domains or hosting accounts on behalf of the client

  • configure DNS, email, SSL, and server settings

  • manage hosting accounts as an authorised administrator

  • provide managed hosting arrangements via third-party platforms

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • the client remains the legal owner of all domains and hosting accounts

  • billing relationships remain between the client and provider

  • renewals are the client’s responsibility

The client acknowledges that:

  • hosting uptime & availability

  • email deliverability

  • DNS propagation & routing

  • infrastructure performance

  • maintenance events & outages

are controlled by the relevant provider and external network systems.

Accordingly, Giosol is not liable for:

  • hosting downtime or outages

  • data-center or network incidents

  • email blocking or spam filtering

  • DNS delays or propagation issues

  • platform policy or infrastructure changes

We may assist with support requests, but responsibility remains with the service provider.

 

3. Account Access & Management on Behalf of Clients

Where Giosol creates or manages accounts including:

  • hosting panels

  • domain registrars

  • DNS & nameserver platforms

  • email systems

  • website dashboards

we do so as an authorised operator or technical agent only.

The client agrees to:

  • maintain valid and current billing details

  • ensure renewals are paid on time

  • notify us of ownership or access changes

Failure to renew may result in:

  • suspension of services

  • loss of domain names

  • permanent deletion of hosting data

Giosol is not responsible for service loss resulting from:

  • missed renewals

  • account suspension

  • client billing failure

  • provider enforcement actions

 

4. Website Content, Licensing & Legal Responsibility

The client is responsible for:

  • all website copy, images, media, and supplied materials

  • ensuring material is owned or legally licensed

  • compliance with copyright, privacy & advertising laws

The client indemnifies Giosol against:

  • copyright disputes

  • trademark conflicts

  • unlawful or defamatory content

Where Giosol supplies stock assets or licensed tools:

  • usage applies only to the client project

  • ownership may not be transferable

  • renewal or license fees may apply

 

5. Security, Maintenance & Software Modifications

Unless the client is subscribed to an active maintenance plan, the client is responsible for:

  • plugin, theme, and CMS updates

  • license renewals

  • backups & recovery safeguards

  • password management & access security

If the client:

  • installs plugins or scripts

  • modifies site files or configuration

  • grants access to third parties

Giosol is not liable for:

  • performance degradation

  • site crashes or conflicts

  • data corruption or loss

  • malware or security breaches

Maintenance or recovery assistance may be billable.

 

6. On-Site SEO — Scope & Limitations

Giosol provides on-site SEO services only, which may include:

  • technical SEO setup

  • metadata & structured optimisation

  • on-page keyword alignment

  • internal linking improvements

  • indexing & sitemap configuration

  • performance & Core Web Vitals optimisation

  • analytics & search console integration

Our services do not include:

  • off-site SEO

  • backlink acquisition or outreach

  • directory submissions

  • content marketing or blog strategy

  • SEO guarantee services

  • ranking or traffic promises

Search performance is influenced by factors outside our control including:

  • search engine algorithm updates

  • competitor activity

  • hosting performance

  • market conditions

  • client-provided content quality

Therefore:

Giosol does not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic growth, or commercial outcomes.

Recommendations are advisory in nature and implementation decisions remain with the client.

7. Social Media Management — Scope & Exclusions

Where engaged for social media management, Giosol may provide:

  • profile setup & optimisation

  • scheduling and publishing of client-provided content

  • brand consistency checks

  • inbox & comment monitoring

  • basic performance reporting

Unless separately contracted, our services do not include:

  • original content creation or copywriting

  • graphic or video production

  • community engagement or outreach

  • paid advertising management

  • influencer or promotional campaigns

The client is responsible for:

  • supplying approved content

  • legal and ethical accuracy of messaging

  • compliance with platform guidelines and laws

Giosol is not liable for:

  • account restrictions or suspensions

  • platform algorithm or policy changes

  • public response or reputational impact

 

8. Consultation Services — Scope & Exclusions

  • Our consultation is advisory and educational in nature and does not include implementation or technical work.

  • Outcomes or results are not guaranteed and depend on factors beyond our control.

  • A pre booked introductory call is required to confirm scope and suitability before the session.

  • We reserve the right to decline our consultation if the scope is outside our expertise or if we are unable to add meaningful value.

  • Our consultation is limited to the agreed time frame. Additional support requires a separate booking.

  • Information shared during our consultation is treated as confidential.

  • Payment is required in advance, and missed sessions may not be eligible for refunds. 



9. Payments, Deliverables & Ownership

Invoices may be issued as:

  • upfront deposits

  • staged milestone payments

  • monthly retainers or subscriptions

Work may be paused in the event of:

  • unpaid invoices

  • overdue balances

  • failure to supply required project inputs

Until full payment is received, Giosol may retain:

  • project files

  • administrator access

  • licenses or deliverables

Hosting, domains, and third-party subscriptions are non-refundable unless stated under provider policy.

10. Service Interruptions, Migration & Termination

Services may be interrupted due to:

  • hosting provider incidents

  • global network disruption

  • security or cyber-events

  • emergency maintenance

Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided.

If the client requests migration, then:

  • migration support may be provided as a paid service

  • transfer risk remains with the client

  • post-migration issues fall outside our scope

Giosol may suspend or terminate services in cases of:

  • non-payment

  • illegal, abusive, or harmful usage

  • repeated security risks

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Giosol is not liable for:

  • downtime or outages caused by third-party providers

  • loss of revenue, business, or opportunity

  • data loss or corruption

  • malware, cyber-attacks, or security incidents

  • email delivery or DNS issues

  • client-initiated changes

  • reliance on third-party platforms

Our responsibility is limited to the delivery of agreed technical services.

Infrastructure responsibility remains with the relevant provider.

 

12. Updates to Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be amended periodically.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
